Can't believed I'm so consumed into watching the entire Season 2 of the O.C. Why is the entire world so fascinated with the lives and loves of Orange County's rich and fabulous?
Probably cos they're all beautiful and disfunctional - sex, scandals and lawsuits... definitely a recipe for a cultural phenomenon...

and u forgot to mention the selection of indie soundtrack on the episodes
oh come on. it's the orange county ;) it's purely entertainment. watch it when your brain needs a break. hehehe.
Yeah, the OC's soundtrack is just overdosed with The Killers, The Roosters, etc etc... interestingly, I'm hooked onto American pop-rock after 6 years of freaking Brit music :p
Entertainment at it's finest...lol
But seriously, it's nice to immerse yourself in other people's screwed up lives rather than your own for a change.
The music's great, albeit overdosed, and the characters are so flawed you can't help but love it - the classic guilty pleasure.
