Private Launch of OceanFront @ Sentosa Cove

Thanks to Aileen, we managed to snag some invites to the launch of the OceanFront condominiums at Sentosa Cove, supposingly one of the more exclusive addresses in the region. I like to call it the "Palms" of Asia Pacific. Others might very well call it the world's biggest daylight robbery.
Smacked with a SGD2.2mil starting price for a 3 bedroom apartment that has a 99 year lease. As the cliche saying goes, "Nothing lasts forever!". To phrase things a lil differently, your precious grandkids might just have to move their complacent butts back to the main island once the government decides that unblocking condos seem fun.
I'm so certain that everyone's trying to cash in on the Intergrated Resort that's coming out. Sure, prices might jus skyrocket once those blueprints have been approved. Disposal is another thing altogether. Ask yourself, would you buy the condo for SGD4mil after 5 years? That is like ten Mercedes CLS55AMG. One of each colour you know!! OK, maybe not... but this... I might just buy! And maybe this as well. You can probably tell that we were a lil more impressed with the houses instead. Gosh... this was fun... and somewhat inspiring (to work harder at least) ;) All in the name of a plot of land which costs at least SGD6mil... yes.. i said "land", not "house".
