Buffet Lunch @ Lemon Garden, ShangriLa

It was after this day when I realised that I had a genuine addiction for food, which left me constantly wondering (as of writing), what ever happened to all the food that I have eaten?! Point aside, this trip round for lunch buffet at a 5star hotel is not part of my every week ritual - I am, by no means, an extravagant spender but I thought that it would be a nice gesture to buy my mum a round of fine-dining. She did, after all, pay for my convocation trip!
It has been quite some time since I went to Shang, everything's seem to have changed. Furnitures are really edgy and futuristic. Zen is in~
I felt like I was in some swanky bar more than anything else...
Skiving my usual "before I hit the sack" supper, this morning's breakfast, I found my hands gasping for the nearest stash of heated plates. "Back it off harnie"!! I was in the sushi spot first, so go help yourself nuts by the corner if you think you can't wait. Muahaha. So here's some graphical lowdown on the stuff I had today.
And more... much much more. I definitely took a whole lot more dishes than this, but after this, I decided to fully concentrate on eating.
Trust me, if it was legal, I would have carried the entire seafood platter back to my table.
First guess, what is this? Any takers? I freaking thought it was a vase, which turned out to be a Willy-Wonka chocolate fountain! Gahhh! It was almost guaranteed that everyone had a smirk on thier hungry faces when they had their round of chocolate-coating their marshmallows on the damn chocolate spring. My sis and I took pics next to it, acting as if we found the 8th wonder of the world. Jakun-ness runs in the family~~
My carefully-regimented diet (coughs) is soooo gone man! Now I'm gonna be lanky with a pot belly. I didn't even bother picking up the "Mens Health: Nutrition 101 Booklet" @ Times later. (Ok fine, I admit that I'm a lil lazy to read as well). Ohhh, and here's the view of the garden outside the restaurant, which reminds me - I need to be searching for that hidden bottle of disgusting Melilia (it's an organic vege drink FYI).
Detox is now on the to-do list...
