Life's Progress

Life as we know it, is constantly plagued with doubts and uncertainties - most of which are beyond one's control - life in perspective, life in pure reality. Han's nick a couple of weeks back was *Life thru a tunnel*, so it was him that sparked this random rave of mine *clearly pointing my finger at him* :p Let me share with you my 20-second journey through this tunnel.

As the tunnel approaches, the mind quickly fills itself with random, senseless doubts - doubts which diminishes the ego - doubts which cloud our daily judgements - doubts which are unimportant in this lifetime anyway.

The best part then kicks in when I'm driving in the tunnel itself - suddenly the mind becomes much lighter as life's problems get blown away by the passing wind. The faster you go (although highly not recommended..hehe), the quicker these problems dissipates into the warm, thin air surrounding the inner walls of the tunnel. Taking occasional short glimpses at the rear-view mirror - problems and the past is being left behind... The trails of light serves as guidance to the upcoming path - the light which is only noticable when you focus of things ahead and above of you :)

As I hit the end of the tunnel, there's alwayz an uncontious smile on my face as I imagine that there will be much better things awaiting me in life. Better career opportunities, faster cars, pimped out villas, runway invitations, an appearance on 'Malaysian Tatler' - and the list goes on forever! Haha. In no way I'm saying that going thru tunnels quickly resolves life's current problems, BUT the sudden burst of broad daylight on the other end, what I regard as renewed optimism, is something I look forward to in the 20th second. *Breathe deeply with a glowing face*

So people, go try and tell me if this works. The longer the tunnel, the better the feeling. Like all things in life! :p
