Tomorrow is Another Day!

I guess it's time for an update hehe. I've been kinda stuck in the office since Monday, yes, in the miserable corporate jailhouse below. Associate consultants are not allocated a fixed seat - infact, we practice something called 'hotdesking' - basically finding a spot within the hotdesking zone which works on a first-come-first-serve basis. Damn! I really thought that I could bring in my stylo-mylo Ikea lamp! No, I'm not a poser, I just hate fluorescent lights... makes me really sleepy. Will probably bring in my camera into the office to get a couple of snapshots of the surroundings for you guys. For now, ain't got the balls to do so! :p Already been caught msn-ing away and chatting on LotusNotes. Muahaha, but hey, there is so much I read in a day. Been requesting for work but have not been assigned to any engagements. Gahh! Apparently I will be placed in one of the banks specialising in SMEs ... certainly hope that there's gonna be some degree of challenge - honestly I need the brain stimulation!!! Expiry date on my Nescafe bottle is approaching! Right now, the biggest challenge is preventing my head from smashing into the laptop screen when I doze off @_@!



Oh, oh, they gave me a pretty "chiu kup" laptop, only 3 in the entire department! Muahaha. HPs will be replacing the conventional black IBM ThinkPads, thank God - hated it when I had to use it in PwC! Woot! So let me enlighten you on the specs: Centrino P1.73GHz - 1Gb RAM - 80Gb HDD - ComboDrive - Bluetooth ...and the list goes on! LOL! Nothing to be envious about - it's NOT mine, will never be! :( Haha. But I must say, 5secs to startup... now that's amazing!
