I take public transport...

Sometimes, taking the MRT isn't so bad after all! Muahahaha!

Mother of all Newsflash

It is now officially cheaper drinking Evian than drinking petrol.

Love Hurts!

As I popped on the office computer... Shereen's nick was "Akon singing to me tonight". What?! On Valentine's Day?! Poor thing... Well guess what, some people somehow have it worse than others.

Walking out the Raffles Place MRT, I was trying to sms Cuiping... just to take the piss at her by wishing her "Happy Valentine's Day and dun go breakin' too many hearts today!". The next thing I know, I tripped and PK-ed over the flight of stairs on the way out of the station... and kinda pulled some office chicks along with me!!!! Farkshit! So freakin' embarassing! Yeah, the usual, I pretended that nothing happened... all calm and composed *gulp*... totally ignoring the cock-stares.

Can't believe I fell for that 'woman' on Valentine's Day. Yucks! And now... my leg hurts real bad!

La Bodega @ Bangsar Telawi

Since I'm currently tagging someone's WiFi in the condo, and it's farking unstable, I shall give Shereen the honour of guest-blogging this post! After all, she and Ally picked up the tab that nite as well! :pAlthough I hardly ate (to save them the grief of having a burned out wallet)... I think this place brings a whole new meaning to "eating bread"! Every alcoholic's fantasy...

I are Porsche!

You are a Porsche 911!

You have a classic style, but you’re up-to-date with the latest technology. You’re ambitious, competitive, and you love to win. Performance, precision, and prestige - you’re one of the elite, and you know it!

Damn! But I wanna be a Mercedes CLS55 AMG! Haha.
So... Which Sports Car are You?

Bouncy Jill

Jill just bought her all-time favourite Swiss Ball for her keep-fit regime. Very suggestive nick there don't you think? :p

Liar's Poker

Thanks Ryan for the book! It's gonna be the first book that I started reading on the day I got it. Looks like I will be finishing a book after all. Funny thing is ... my entire 2004/5 experiences are very well papered in Chapter 2. Weird but true... Here's the exempt:

Michael Lewis was fresh out of Princeton and the London School of Economics when he landed a job at Salomon Brothers (now merged into Citigroup), one of Wall Street's premier investment firms. During the next three years, Lewis rose from callow trainee to New York - and London-based bond salesman, raking in millions for the firm and cashing in on a modern-day gold rush.

Liar's Poker is the culmination of those heady, frenzied years - a behind-the-scenes look at a unique and turbulent time in American business. From the frat-boy camaraderie of the trading room to the killer instinct that made ambitious young men gamble everything on a high-stakes game of bluffing and deception, here is Michael's knowing and hilarious insider's account of an unprecedented era of greed, gluttony and outrageous fortune.

The Trad Jazz Quartet @ Oasis

You must check this place out... pretty secluded near Dataran Maybank along Jln Maarof, but the place is dirt cheap for drinks and food, considering that there is a Live Jazz band smoothing the night away. Never order the Amaracci Teh Tarik! Dun think it was Tongkat Super Ali but it managed to keep me and Jill up till 6am!

And what a Chor Dai Dee - cum - Truth or Dare session it was! You guys need help! Like loads of it! Me too...

Delicious by Ms. Read

I had a bad experience with restaurants born and bred out of fashion boutique stores, but this one ... I'm striking it off my blacklist. Ambience was good and cosy, somewhere ur hunnie wud enjoy on a romantic nite out...woot! ~Chicken & Mushroom Pie which, in my opinion, wayyy better than the very commercialised Dome Cafe!
Tenderloin Steak with mashed potatoes...

The Greg Lyons Pocket Band @ Alexis

Heard loads about Greg Lyons' band... the group who's pretty well known for improvising jazz tunes with dance music. I however found it really disappointing!
Hard hitting grooves, yes ... but tunes certainly didn't come as standard to their music... in addition, the band was so loud that it almost felt that we were clubbing. Only consolation are the cakes. Banoffee Pie was excellent!

The Need for Financial Stability

Believe me when I tell you I spent the entire evening car showroom hopping at Glenmarie with Derek & Jill because KL is the "liveliest" city during Chinese New Year. First stop, Audi.. then moved on to Alfa. Sensing that Jill might be a lil bored with boys toys, we were courteous enough to ask for her preference. And without any hesitation at all ... "Porsche!". We might have found ourselves a Beverly Hills brat :pTake the Boxster, plunk a roof on top of it and wahlah! You now have the Porsche Cayman S... and the world's laziest designers! Although I still don't mind owning one, as hypocritical as it sounds. On the other end of the building, thrashing the vicinity of my babies is... a Porsche-Bengster-996 with mother of all body kits, screaming for attention! If I remember correctly, the Porsche salesdude mentioned that the bodykit costs half a million for the plastic surgery and to tart up its performance. Rite! Everyone, say it with me... "Spoilers, yes. Contraptions the size of a Boeing's, NO!" Speaking of which, caught it tailing me at a Damansara intersection (although I could only see the freaking roof from my rearview mirror). It will be interesting though to see the outcome if I were to jam my brakes. However, it was very nice of this Brabus dude to unlock the Lamborghini Gallardo for us to rub our senses against those perfectly constructed bucket seats. Can I also mention... it is impossible to drive this damn thing. There is no way that you can judge how far the hood is from the car infront of you, not even with 2 dictionaries seated under your ass . And happy parallel parking as well! By the way, it's all yours for RM1.6mil only!I'd rather cruise around in the CLS. One word... SLEEK! And one-third the price of the Lambo. Much more affordable... once I've fulfilled obligations like Servicing the mortgage for my house, Settling education for Lil' Darrens' and paying off Mother-in-law's monthly Botox injections...
That's Jill getting all comfy and at home in the....
... Mercedes S600 Pullman... which is to be avoided like an open wound on a hooker!
Who ever said that stealing a Mercedes was childs play?! Farking LaserKeys! "Derek, just bluddy pick one!!!"
